General Store

The author, Rachel Lyman Field, was born in 1894 and died in 1942. She wrote about everything, including this beautiful poem about a child's wish to have a general store and sell things to the townsfolk. Parker gets her wish too in drawing brooms, bananas, boots, sarsaparilla bottles, and lots more in this country store.
