John Greenleaf Whittier's famous poem about General Stonewall Jackson"s march through Frederick, Maryland during the Civil War. Winston Churchill recited this poem in its entirety on his visit to Shangri-La with President Franklin Roosevelt, and every school child in the state of Maryland was required to memorize the poem by heart.
